WORLD! Talk like a PIRATE DAY! September !
a day where we all remember Piracy in it's true form

Aye Mateys! We be talking like Pirate we be! YAR!!!

When: 22nd of September
Where: Macquarie University
What do we have on the day:

9:30 am: e7b100 - Screening, One Piece Movie & Outlaw star (HUGE THANKS to madman for screening permission!)
1:00 pm: Behind (Atrium/U@MQ building) - the backgreen - Picnic
2:00 pm: Cosplay competition
3:00 pm: Naval cutlass lessons or... how to fight like a pirate!

So come and celebrate a late talk like a pirate day.

Outlaw Star remains one of the classic anime series out there, set in a future of faster than light travel, and tao priests, with a hilarious crew featuring a cowboy, a genius, a catgirl, an android and an assassin, AnimeMQ will be playing one of it's short arcs from the series.

One Piece is the definitive Pirate staring series of Japan, with it's motly crew there is much misadventure and comedy to be had.

What is a LAN party?
It's a Huge party with lots of people from MUCS and AnimeMQ
MUCS = Macquarie University Computing Society & AnimeMQ = Anime at Macquarie Society

What do we do at a LAN party?
We Share Anime on Local Area Network (LAN)
and Play LAN Games such as
Star Craft! ( please bring your CDs as we have limited amount)Warcraft 3!
Quake 3!
Counter Stike!

On the day we also have Console games running at the same time

Wii!
Bring your Wii Controllers!We have Force UNLEASHED! Bring your Wii Motes ( Wii controllers)
for personal preference or hygiene purposes we recommend your own Wii motes.. if you don't have it.. then u can use ours

Dead or ALive 4
Guitar Hero!

PS2!
Gundam Force
Tekken 5

and much more!

but most importantly a special Anime Screening!
AnimeMQ Operates this on the side with members free to watch what we screen throughout the whole day.

EVEN MORE IMPORTANT!
ANIME IS GOING TO BE SERVED!

So don't forget to bring your hard drives , Laptops and network cables (If you don't own a network cable we can try and as MUCS for help :P)

AnimeMQ is going to bring their Library to the LAN party , there you can leech and copy as much as you want from the library THROUGHOUT the day only

AnimeMQ is also going to try and put anime on the LAN network so you can Download and save them unto your computers!

ANimeMQ members! If you want to share with others bring your collection also!
THis is the time for you to get that long awaited series you couldn't find ( You just might find someone with it and you can trade for it)

Some members will be uploading their collection to the network so that Members from both clubs can download and save for their watching at home
