Is this really, Pokemon 2000?

So I just watched the 2nd Pokemon Movie, [Pokemon (2000)], the one with Lugia and...

START OF RANT-------------------------
OMG, SOMEONE PLEASE get them to hire a script writer!!! There are so many wrong moments! If this movie was the plateau for the pokemon movies, I am seriously worried about the rest.
ASH was ..being ASH, with his all in hero complex, he can't think about others but pokemon and saving the world but at times he's so doubtful. Misty was such a tsundere, yet not? Team Rocket, why cant they be always this awesome. Pikachu is so badass,(yet more evidence to prove ASH's pikachu is a legendary pokemon) he really needs to be captioned in this movie to say all kinds of wrong quotes hahaha, ( I watched in English ). The legendary birds, Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno are such Jerks, Lugia is awesome but why does he gain power from the flute...he is all mighty!!! The movie quality could have so much better in my opinion. But then again, this movie was created in 2000, and I have seen a fair amount of good scripted movies to mold my perception of a good movie......still not a good enough excuse.

I admit the art style was quite impressive at the start, and I was pretty keen at the beginning, but as it progressed, it got a lot run -down, except for maybe the battle scene.
There are so many complications with this movie, but i'll leave it at that.

Rating:
Story: E- - barely E, only because its pokemon
Art: A- - I can see they put some effort in
Animation: B+ - I just feel they could have dont a little more
Characters: C- - you just do not act these ways, Melody was sweet, but nothing of it, and
the central bad guy.....no just no.
Overall: C- - the movie was only saved because it was so bad, and my imagination was better than it was :D

END RANT
Sorry, but watch this movie, without expecting much, it is okay.

That movie was so much better the way you submit

AnimeMQ 2012

Wow, it has been a while since there has been a post here.

It's 2012 now, and another year of Anime, and of course AnimeMQ.

The Year started off quite well, and we got around 170 members!!! in our O-week recruitment :P.

Yay AnimeMQ Banzai!!!!! Shout out to all the executives who helped out at the store and a big thank you probably to the main helpers, Kelly, Amber (thanks for helping everyday), Jay (good idea with the 'prizes'), Alex (who did an awesome job of cosplaying that cool visual K in like 40 degree weather ^^'') Jessica, Rajika (who had an awesome Yoruichi cosplay), Bevan, and many others (sorry if I missed anyone).

If not for you guys helping out the club, im not sure it would be still around, although there will be always fans of anime :D.

Fastforwarding to today >>>>>>MARCH. yes, everyone is happy with winning prizes, and so our screening and loans library has been getting lots of interested people. Hope that momentum can continue for us. More active people = more fun.

The most recent season of anime Winter 2012 that i'm highlighting at the moment include some fun anime as 'Ano natsu de matteru', the 2nd season of Bakemonogatari, Inu x boku SS, and probably the MVP of the season the horror Anime 'ANOTHER' .

'Another' is currently being screened at our Thursday 1-2pm Screening in the room W6B201. So far there has been many people interested into it. I can't wait to hear their reactions when they get to episode 3 :D (not in any creepy way , hahaha).

For more information about other anime in last season check out this chartfaq http://blog.hachimitsu.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/ibnsXMO3Hdpt1R.jpg

And for new anime Spring 2012 - http://blog.hachimitsu.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/ibnsXMO3Hdpt1R.jpg Looking forward to Fate stay zero S2 ><

But in other news, the first Animania of this year or popularily known Mini Animania is on this SATURDAY 24th March. I imagine it will be the same thing as all years, but it is a nice kick for Convention goers (probably needs a better word) till the big ones later mid year. Of course there will be many people from AnimeMQ going, so if you are reading this go! Lelouch demands you to go!!!! [=_v] >

Anyhow, I plan to keep this blog updated for a while, I may post every once a month, but depends on how bored or busy I am :P .
Otherwise
Until next time
You may have lost me, but you'll always be in my heart ;)
